Bank of Maldives and American Express Launch New ‘Experience Maldives’ Campaign for Premium Travellers

Bank of Maldives (BML) and American Express have teamed up once again to launch the latest edition of Experience Maldives, a two-year destination campaign designed to offer American Express Card Members a taste of the very best the Maldives has to offer.

Backed by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI), Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) and the National Boating Association of Maldives (NBAM), the initiative invites travellers to explore the islands with an exclusive collection of perks and privileges across resorts, liveaboards and local merchants.

Card Members can look forward to 10–30% savings on indulgent spa treatments, beachfront dining and thrilling water sports. The campaign also includes complimentary extras such as floating breakfasts, room upgrades and one-of-a-kind Maldivian experiences, all crafted to deliver a memorable escape in one of the world’s most coveted destinations.

Mohamed Shareef, CEO and Managing Director of BML, said the collaboration is about elevating the Maldives’ reputation as a world-class destination. “This initiative enhances the travel experience of American Express Card Members by offering curated privileges that showcase the Maldives’ natural beauty and vibrant culture, while reinforcing the country’s standing as a top choice for luxury holidays,” he said.
