“President’s efforts to foster nationalism is a significant initiative”

Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage Adam Naseer Ibrahim has emphasised that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s efforts to promote nationalism represent a significant initiative aimed at aligning the mindset of the Maldivian people with the nation’s core values. In an exclusive interview with PSM News, Minister Adam Naseer acknowledged that various measures have been introduced to preserve and pass on the nation’s history to the current generation. However, he pointed out that these initiatives had not been implemented at a national scale, nor had they fully utilised modern methods for preserving Maldivian culture and history. The minister revealed that the current administration is focused on ensuring the culture and history of the Maldives is preserved and passed down to generations, on a national level. Furthermore, Minister Adam Naseer stated that constructive and destructive criticism were entirely two different things. He stated that constructive criticism is essential and far more beneficial to both the residents and the nation as a whole.
