Dhiraagu has been recognised as the provider of the fastest 5G network in the Maldives, winning the Speedtest Awards presented by Ookla, a global leader in broadband and mobile network analysis.
The award was based on Dhiraagu’s performance in the last two quarters of 2024 and was presented at the Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.
Dhiraagu CEO and Managing Director Ismail Rasheed and Chief Technology and Information Officer Mohamed Musad accepted the award on behalf of the company.
Speaking on the achievement, Dhiraagu CEO Ismail Rasheed stated that the company’s ultra-fast 5G network will enhance connectivity for both individuals and businesses. He reaffirmed Dhiraagu’s commitment to remaining at the forefront of digital innovation in the Maldives by continuing to invest in the latest technology.
This marks another milestone for Dhiraagu, which had previously won the fastest mobile network award in the Maldives for three consecutive years.
In response to the recognition, Dhiraagu expressed gratitude to its customers for their continued support and reaffirmed its commitment to improving services in the Maldives.
